Klinsmann to USA's youth: Come to Denmark
Make yourself a better soccer player and a better person as well by traveling to Europe and participating in the Dana Cup in Hjørring.
This is, in fact, the message from Jürgen Klinsmann, the former World Star and current head coach of the US Men's National Team, to all girls and boys in the country.
Together with Jill Ellis, head coach of the Women's National Team, he has signed a letter addressed to all American clubs:
"As head coaches of the US National Teams we believe that international competition is critical for player and team development. Traveling to Europe to face quality teams will provide unique challenges as well as provide a new perspective on how to approach the game. These challenges will contribute to the growth and maturity of your players individually and as a group.

Premier International Tours is one of Dana Cup's US partners who send teams to the International Youth Soccer Tournament.
Once again, the number of participating teams in Dana Cup is looking good with more than 1.000 teams from 45 different countries.
Jürgen Klinsmann, born in Germany, scored 47 goals in 108 internationals and helped his country to beat Argentina 1-0 in the FIFA World Cup final in 1990. He has played in four of the five big leagues in Europe; representing VfB Stuttgart and FC Bayern München in Germany, FC Internazionale and UC Sampdoria in Italy, AS Monaco FC in France and Tottenham Hotspur in England.
In 2011 he took over as head coach of the US Men's National Teams which he led to the knockout stage at the FIFA World Cup finals in Brazil last year.
Jürgen Klinsmann, who lives in Huntington Beach in California with his wife Debbie Chin and their children Jonathan and Laila, has extended his contract with US Soccer until the end of June 2018.
