A sporting message from Agger

at the opening of the Dana Cup Hjørring.

Dana Cup Hjørring 2019 will be ”kicked off” by a sporting idol and the Mayor of Hjørring.

The former professional footballer from Liverpool FC - Daniel Agger, will come to Hjørring on Monday the 22nd of July and will form a bond between the football world and the huge event in Hjørring.

Daniel Agger will have a busy day before the official opening from the Nord Energi Arena. He will join the Liverpool FC Academy Training , sign autographs in the SPORTMASTER tent in the Park Vendia and take part in an interview with UEFA's former Press Manager, Frits Ahlstrøm.

With a sporting "opening message", the Dana Cup resumes a former tradition that was held over many years. Previously there was always a footballing idol present when the Mayor of the city did the official welcome to Hjørring,

The Mayor, Arne Boelt will of course be present again in 2019, so we will enjoy a Dana Cup Opening Ceremony built on tradition but on a brand new and modern Nord Energi Arena.
