AUSTRALIA KF, is a Kosovan football club based in Mitrovica, Kosovo.
Founded on 17 May 2009 as Mitrovica Football Club, the club has traditionally worn a yellow home kit.
The name of the club "AUSTRALIA" derives from the life and work of Jeton Ujkani in the state of Australia, one of the founders of the club. The club took on football for boys, but also with girls, our club was one of the first clubs in Kosovo to deal with girls' football.
Throughout the years AUSTRALIA KF participated in the Mitrovica regional league, with the new generations U13, U15 and U17, where many successes were achieved and the discipline of our players was highly rated in Kosovo.
It is worth mentioning some of the successes achieved from the foundation (as for the new generations). The U15 age group won the regional cup of Mitrovica region; in a dramatic final, where the first half ended 3: 1 at a disadvantage, and in the second half the result was equalized at 3: 3 in the last minute; in extra time the result was closed 3: 3, and penalties were needed to determine the winner, where after entering the second goalkeeper goal we won the match where the goalkeeper received the first two penalties. The successes are many, but given the purpose of this short summary; I mentioned only one.
Our club is also part of the second league of Kosovo with the senior category, this league is conducted with great efficiency and with great competition where the priority of the club is the ascension in the first league, the elite league of Kosovar football.
The club's general director and one of the club's main sponsors to date, is Jeton Ujkani, who has invested heavily in the club and his name in the club will be remembered long because he has given everything to the club.
Our club has travelled many times abroad for international tournaments; in Norway in 2014 we participated in the U17 generation, where we were privileged to represent our country. In Bulgaria in 2015 at a tournament in Bulgaria where many European clubs took part. In collaboration with the great English club Arsenal, we also hosted the Arsenal Elite Camp, as hosts of this camp we were exceptionally pleased to give the talent of our club to show their talents. Our club participated last year in Dana Cup 2018 in Denmark with two teams U15 and U17 we would like to show the rest of the World our fantastic football skills.
