Stathelle New in Club 100
Stathelle og Omegn IL from Norway is one of two new clubs in the exclusive Club 100, which consists of clubs that have sent 100 or more teams to the Dana Cup. This year the Norwegian club send 10 teams to Hjørring.
And there are many good reasons for this.
’Well, participation in the Dana Cup is gradually becoming a tradition and we love to go to Hjørring, which we choose instead of Norway Cup. We think that Dana Cup works perfectly for us. We are close to the ferry in Langesund. There is excellent logistics at Dana Cup. There are good facilities for family, good parking and good opportunities to camp or rent a summer cottage,’ says Allan Finder, who is team leader for Stathelle B14.
’First and foremost, the trip to Dana Cup is a social trip. We experience a lot of support from the parents. Some live together and have a good time, and then we are good at supporting all our teams,’ explains Allan Finder, who has been to Dana Cup for the past four years as team leader.
