Dana Cup with Fortuna to Portugal

On Wednesday the 8th of October at 8.45 pm, when Fortuna Hjørring run onto the field at Fatima Stadion in Ouriense, north of the Portuguese capital Lisbon - there will be some Danish supporters in the stands. Dana Cup, the organizing club behind Fortuna Hjørring, will be using the game in the UEFA Women's Champions League to also get more attention for the huge, international youth soccer tournament that takes place in Hjørring each year in July. 

- Obviously it is the Champions League game that is essential and we would like to have 3 points in our bags when we return to Denmark but we would also like to have more Portuguese teams entered in the Dana Cup 2015, says Dana Cup Director, Jette Andersen who is also the chairman for Fortuna Hjørring.

- When our flagship is out representing the top of Danish soccer, it also gives us the opportunity to advertise the Dana Cup, who stand behind the club and we take advantage of this opportunity. 

We have different advertising materials about the Dana Cup with us to Portugal and we have invited our agent and some clubs to meet with us.

Dana Cup will be holding a presentation at the Hotel Santa Justa, Rua dos Correeiros 204 in Lisbon on Monday the 6th of October at 7.30 pm. But the CL game in Ouriense is the top priority. We are set to return to Hjørring with 3 points so we are ready for the return game on Danish soil. The return game will be played in Frederikshavn on the 15th of October at 3.00 pm.
