106 minutes of regular time had to pass, before Saturday’s first goal was scored. On the other hand, it was a wonderful goal. Brodd scored from long range against Pieta Hotspurs FC from Malta. Six minutes later, the players in green from Norway scored again to the delight of the spectators in the stands.
However, no more goals were scored in a match where the players from Malta were physically inferior to the somewhat larger Norwegians. Yet, the physical difference did not seem to scare the players from the Mediterranean island, who fought on undaunted.
It was a lively and well-played final.
