Dana Cup Event Area
The event site at Dana Cup is a 26,000m2 area where players can stay between matches. It is an area where all the activities are free, and that is important to us – equal for all – speaking of activities, it has really got an upgrade this year. We have expanded the event space by approx. 10,000m2 and approx. 50% additional activities have been added – so there is really something to look forward to.
We would like to provide all participants with a great experience when they take part in Dana Cup, both on and off the field. Therefore, this year, we have made extra efforts to create an area that people will want to visit and experience.
As something new, we have made an agreement with Timbernest which comes with 25 HUGE social-benches, which provides a completely unique lounge experience at the event site.
We have also expanded the bazar street from 10 food trucks previously to 17 food trucks this year – we have done it to create a regular streetfood atmosphere, it enhances the experience and the wide selection attracts more people. Therefore, we also hope that many locals will visit the bazaar street and experience the real streetfood atmosphere.
We have tried to raise the level of the content on the event site, and we have done so, among other things, by bringing in Denmark's best football juggler, who both shows tricks and teaches a bit. We have brought in the Danish national coach in eSports and finally we have made an agreement with Anders Vejrgang – the newly crowned FIFAe Club World Cup champion – who visits Dana Cup for both meet‘n‘greet and beat a pro.
Dana Cup has its 40th anniversary this year, and therefore we have doubled the activities – It really has to be evident that it is the anniversary year.
