Any player can participate on two teams from the same club, as long as the age limit is kept. The two teams must not be in the same class.
Teams can use guest players.
Team list and identification
A team list must be submitted to the referee before each match.
A player is only eligible to play if he/she is listed on the team list.
Player identification - with a photo - must be brought to the team's matches, where it can be shown to the jury or its representative on request.
It may result in a lost match if the team uses a player who is not eligible to play, or if satisfactory identification is not presented.
It is the jury that decides what constitutes satisfactory identification.
3. First rounds
The teams are divided into groups of 4 teams. All-play-all tournament.
Teams are then placed according to points won.
• 3 points for a win
• 1 point for a tie
• No points for a defeat
If two or more teams achieve the same point score, their placing order is decided as follows:
• The goal difference in all games.
• The highest number of goals scored.
• Points in their games between each other.
• Drawing lots.
The draw is made by the tournament administration. If the teams involved are not present, they will be notified of the draw results.
4. Second rounds
1.a. No. 1 in group 1 will play no. 1 in group 2
1.b. No. 1 in group 3 will play no. 1 in group 4
2.a. The 2 winners will play for 1st and 2nd place
2.b. The 2 losing teams will play for 3rd and 4th place
At the same time, No. 2 in the groups will play for 5th to 8th place, No. 3 in the groups will play for 9th to 12th place and No. 4 in the groups will play for 13th to 16th place.
If there are only 3 groups in a class, the 3 group winners will play against each other to find their placement. The same applies for the No. 2´s, 3´s and 4´s.
Tied matches - the final rounds
Tied matches are decided by penalty shoot-outs.
The penalty shoot-out is held according to FIFA´s rules. In 8:8 games, only 4 penalty kicks to each team and in 5:5 games, only 2 penalty kicks to each team.
5. Length of play
All games will be 2 x 30 minutes in total.
6. Rules – FIFA and DBU’s rulings with the following amendments:
Number of players
In 11:11 games, a team can use a maximum of 18 players in any given game, this means in any one game you can use a maximum of 7 substitutes.
In 8:8 and 5:5 games, a team can use as many players as they want.
Substitution
All players can be substituted in and out - (free substitution).
The substitution of a player (excluding the goalkeeper) can take place without notifying the referee and without a stop in the play.
The substitution must take place from the middle of the pitch.
A player, being substituted, must leave the pitch before the new player enters the pitch.
When substituting the goalkeeper, the referee must be notified of the substitution and it must take place when there is a stop in the play.
Timelimited send off
Not in use.
Ball size
Classes G16, B16, and B15 play with a ball size 5.
Classes B14, B13, B12, B11, B10, G15, G14, G13, G12, G11 and G10 play with a ball size 4.
Time for matches - playing time
If a team is not ready at the time mentioned in the official program the game will still be played if there is no more than a 10 minute delay.
In the event of a team not being ready within the 10 minute time frame, the team will be registered for a loss unless there are special circumstances, such as sudden illness, traffic accidents or other unforeseen circumstances.
In such cases the tournament jury may determine that the result of a delayed match shall apply or that an unplayed match shall be played.
7. Players sent off
Players sent off are automatically suspended for the teams next game. The same rule applies for the trainer of the team if he is sent off.
The tournament jury can, in special cases, decide on stricter penalties e.g. if they use a disqualified player.
Only when a player is suspended for more than one game will notice of the suspension be given in writing.
8. Absence
If a team does not turn up for a game, loses on protest, or is omitted from the tournament, the score is set at 0-3.
If the team is omitted in the opening rounds, all the teams results are changed to 0-3.
9. Protests
Protests concerning matches must be submitted in writing by the respective managers to the tournament jury, no later than one hour after the end of the match.
Any decisions made by a referee during a game are final and cannot be appealed.
The size of the soccer balls, shins pads, shirt numbers, participation armbands are not grounds for a protest.
The decisions of the jury can not be appealed.
10. Referees - Linespersons
Dana Cup will, in cooperation with DBU Jutland, select the referees for all matches.
Neutral linespersons will be appointed whenever possible (this depends on the number of referees DBU Jutland can arrange for the tournament).
In matches where no neutral linespersons are used, the two teams are obliged to present their own linespersons.
11. Publication and modifications to the tournament schedule
The tournament schedule will be published in the week 17, starting from the 24th of April to the 28th of April here on our website www.danacup.dk
The tournament administration reserves the right to make changes after this date to the groups, playing fields, playting times etc.
If there are any alterations after the publication of the schedule, the teams involved will be contacted directly.
