We officially invite referees from around the world to participate in the Dana Cup, Hjørring 21-26 July 2025.
At the Dana Cup, we like to use "Cup Referees". A “Cup Referee”, is a referee who has accommodation with us the whole week.
This gives you the opportunity to be social with the other referees from all around the world, while enriching your Dana Cup experience. It also gives us the opportunity to be more flexible when appointing referees to the matches.
Referee selection process
Dana Cup will open up for Referee Registrations from the 15th of September 2024 through to the 28th of February 2025, we will pick 200 referees between this timeline. If we need more referees after this time we will continue with the registrations from the 1st of May 2025. Former Dana Cup referees will always have priority.
Referees must be over 15 years of age to participate.
Referee accommodation and meals
As a Dana Cup referee, you will receive free accommodation in a hall in Hjørring from (Saturday to Sunday) along with a mattress and blanket; remember to bring your own sleeping bag. You can also bring your own caravan or tent and stay at our camping site, this option is free of charge. You will also receive free meals from Monday night dinner to Saturday lunch.
Referee transport
Please note that the Dana Cup does not cover your travel expenses to the tournament, you need to organize this yourself. The closest airport to Hjørring is the Aalborg Airport if you need further information you can contact us at soccer@danacup.dk

Come and be a part of our international soccer tournament and join the festival activities during the Dana Cup week in Hjørring. Dana Cup can promise you a memorable week, together with around 250 other referees.
