Richmond Park FC from England - B15, G13 and G12

Tell us briefly the history of your club/team?

Our club was formed in 2014 with one boys' team but then grew the following summer to include 3 girls' teams. Next year we will expand further and will also start running a mini soccer school for 6-9 year olds. Our club draws players from the Richmond Park area in South West London.

Is it your first time at the Dana Cup if not how many times has your club participated?

Our boys participated last year and had a phenomenal time! I think that for many of them it was the best week of their lives, not just in a football sense bit also socially- they made friends that they still stay in touch with today. For us, Dana Cup is the highlight of the year and is a great reward after a long, hard English football season.

What are your goals and expectations for the Dana Cup 2016?

For the boys we would like to go further than last year where we lost on penalties in the third knock-out round of the B competition. For our G12 and G13 gils' teams we have high expectations but we are also intrigued to see how they match up against international teams. They could go far. The most important thing though is that everyone has an enjoyable week in Denmark and that the players (and leaders!) create memories for life.
