School accommodation is very popular at the Dana Cup, as it is extremely social and strengthens your team spirit and bonding.
The A-band includes, participation in the Dana Cup, full board (3 meals a day) from Monday evening to Saturday lunch and accommodation in a school.
Breakfast is served on your school. Lunch and dinner is served in the FiberHallen in the Dana Cup center area.
The general dates for the school accommodation are from Monday to Saturday. The maximum length of stay without extra costs for accommodation is from Saturday to Sunday.
Participants at the Dana Cup in Hjørring are accommodated on 28-30 schools. Dana Cup participants can use our free buses that travel in a star system from early in the morning to late at night.
When we are planning the accommodation we are conscious about mixing the different cultures to give a positive intercultural dimension.
When there are a number of teams from the same club we try as best we can to have them on the same school. Some teams are accommodated in gymnastic halls or halls together with other teams but only other teams from the same club.
Participants must bring their own mattress and sleeping bag, although it is possible to rent a mattress or bed if you wish to. Orders for mattresses or beds can be made through your clubs login page.
Note: Trainer/leader rooms are only available for trainers/leaders of the opposite sex to the players and are shared together with other clubs. If your club has both girls and boys on the same school, then the leaders of the opposite sex can stay in the room with the team of the same sex. These rooms can be ordered via your club login page.
Remember that all teams must leave a deposit of DKK 500 - USD 80,00 - SEK 700,00 - EUR 70,00 on arrival to the school. The deposit is refunded on departure, as long as the classroom is handed over in the same standard as when you arrived. Note that the classroom must be as you found it.
On arrival teams need to move the table and chairs to the side of the room.
- There must be at least one responsible leader over 18 years of age on the school at all times.
- Alcohol is strictly prohibited on the school premises.
- Smoking is prohibited on the school.
- Cooking (coffee making) is prohibited in the classrooms and the halls.
- It is prohibited to hang up flammables in the halls or to move furniture out of the classrooms etc.
- It is prohibited to enter the school in your soccer boots.
- Playing soccer in the school or the school yard is prohibited but permitted on the schools sports grounds.
- Rubbish must be placed in the rubbish bags in the halls.
- Silence from 11.00 pm to 6.00 am.
- All persons must respect and obey the person in charge of the school.
- The bathrooms and toilets will be cleaned daily.
- Each team must contribute to the cleaning of their own and shared areas.
- The teams are liable for damages to the school premises.
- Personal property is kept on the school premises at your own risk.
- Rollerblades and skateboards are prohibited on the school premises.
- Double mattresses are not allowed to be used for single persons in the classrooms on the schools.
