Aurium Sports – B14, B12 and B11 – Nepal
1. Tell us briefly the name of your club and where you come from, your history?
We are The Aurium Academy, a football academy working in grassroot training for development of Youth in Football. Over 4 years of our existence, we have explored various aspects of football training. With our understanding from the trainings we have provided we developed an effective way to train students about football and other necessary skills that come with it. We call the model BUST (Breathing, warmUp, Stretching, Training Drills). We train our students throughout the year with this model in mind.
2. Tell us what participating in the Dana Cup means for you and your team/s?
A good challenging competition is always welcome for us to take part in. And moreover a tournament like Dana Cup is every young players aspiration. It means so much for our young athletes to be able to display their talent in such big stage. We thank Dana Cup for having us as one of the teams.
3. What are your goals and expectations at the Dana Cup 2025?
We participated in the Dana Cup in 2024. It was an amazing experience facing all those teams. In this year, we are looking forward to play against teams from countries we had not played last time. We are planning to bring Dana Cup to Nepal.
4. Dana Cup supports Football for the Goals - it is a United Nations initiative that provides a platform for the global football community to engage with and advocate for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We ask all teams to pick at least 1 of the Global Goals that they support and will play the Dana Cup, which goal does your team support and would like to play for? Our academy strongly believe in SDGs 3, 4, 5, 8 & 10. Thus, we have been working on these goals here in Nepal, with a strong slogan "Sports for Mental Health".
