Awards Presented at VIP Event
On Tuesday evening, team leaders, guests and partners came together for an evening of good company and informal conversation. It is a long-standing Dana Cup tradition where, for a few hours, the action on the pitch gives way to live music, a meal from Bone's and the presentation of special awards.
Frankie Ciantar from Malta received a Dana Cup Honor Award in recognition of his many years of participation in the tournament and for bringing teams from the Mediterranean island to Hjørring.
Anna Bryn of Voss FBK in Norway was also honoured with a Dana Cup Honor Award in recognition of Voss FBK's loyal and valued partnership with Dana Cup since 1985. Unfortunately, Anna Bryn was unable to attend the event, so the award was accepted on her behalf by Hege Aldal Indrebø. She also received an award on behalf of Voss FBK, recognising the club's remarkable achievement of having brought more than 200 teams to the Dana Cup over the years.
Norwegian clubs Viking FK and Flint Fotball were also recognised, with each receiving an award for having brought 100 teams to the Dana Cup.
