Bogafjell Idrettslag - G15 - Norway
1. Tell us briefly the name of your club and where you come from, your history?
Bogafjell Idrettslag comes from a small village in Sandnes, just outside Stavanger. We were founded in 2001, and are therefore one of the youngest, but also one of the largest football clubs in our part of Norway. Our village is growing quickly and has almost 1.000 boys and girls playing football. This is a small community where most people know each other and everyone cheers for Bogafjell IL.
2. Tell us what participating in the Dana Cup means for you and your team/s?
Dana Cup is the biggest highlight in 2025 for our team, and also the biggest highlight in the girls' football careers so far. For our girls, both the sporting and social aspects are equally important, and we are very much looking forward to both fun and exciting football matches and to meeting new and old football friends. Dana Cup will be fantastic.
3. What are your goals and expectations at the Dana Cup 2025?

Dana Cup supports Football for the Goals - it is a United Nations initiative that provides a platform for the global football community to engage with and advocate for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We ask all teams to pick at least 1 of the Global Goals that they support and will play the Dana Cup, which goal does your team support and would like to play for? Bogafjell Girls 15 supports all the goals, but we would like to choose Goal Number 5, Gender Equality, and play for it. For us, it is just as important in football as in society in general.
