From Nigeria to Denmark: When Dana Cup Opens Doors
For two talented players from Sporting Supreme Football Club in Nigeria, the Dana Cup 2025 became a life‑changing experience.
Competing in the B18–19 category, the team delivered an outstanding tournament and finished as winners of the A-final. Their performances were defined by skill, confidence and determination and two players in particular stood out throughout the week.
Their talent did not go unnoticed. After watching the tournament and the final, Vendsyssel FF, a local Danish club, offered the two players the opportunity to stay in Denmark and continue their football journey with the club on contract.
What began as an international youth tournament became the first step toward a brighter footballing future.
Today, the two players are enjoying an unforgettable experience in Denmark, training with their new club, adapting to a new culture and taking important steps both on and off the pitch.
