Perhaps, this is the weirdest match of the day. After just one minute of play, Hjørring IF made it 1-0, and when it was doubled six minutes later with another great shot from the distance, most believed that the gold medals would stay in the host city.
Still, the team from Poland, Union UJAZD, did not give up because just two minutes later they scored. However, Hjørring responded quickly with a penalty kick and two minutes later an own goal, before Union score again against an otherwise good Danish goalkeeper.
Then, surely, the entertaining game was over, but the teams had barely returned to the field before Union UJAZD made it 4-3, and the tension was suddenly palpable.
With two quick goals, Union UJAZD won the best match of the day.
