Fyllingsdalen FK 1 (NOR) – Bjarg IL (NOR) 6-4 (1-1) after extra time and penalty shootouts
The spectators at the last final of the Dana Cup witnessed a real drama. The match between Fyllingsdalen and Bjarg was close to being a Norwegian derby on a Danish football pitch. Both teams come from the Bergen area, but there was not much neighbourly hospitality.
Bjarg quickly dominated the game. Thus, the club put Fyllingsdalen's defence under pressure, but with five Fyllingsdalen players in the back, it was difficult for Bjarg to create any open chances. However, the team gradually became more dangerous in the second half, and after eight minutes they finally scored.
In the last minutes, Fyllingsdalen tried everything to score, and when Bjarg’s goalkeeper put the ball on the grass after two minutes of added time, one of Fyllingsdalen's players stole the ball and kicked it into the net. 1-1 and extra time. Naturally, the goal gave Fyllingsdalen renewed strength, and the match was now completely even, but without further goals.
Therefore, the match ended in penalty kicks and, surprisingly, Fyllingsdalen won the last final of the Dana Cup.
