Bjarg IL (NOR) – Fortuna Hjørring (DEN) 4-1 (1-2)

Bjarg IL put themselves under enormous pressure when a huge defensive error allowed Fortuna to put the ball into the net with ease.

That was four minutes into the game. Five minutes later, it happened again. A good Fortuna attack ended with a completely unmarked player once again easily sending the ball into the goal.

After a Fortuna shot hit the crossbar, Bjarg reduced the deficit with the first penalty kick awarded in regular time in the final round. The ball was calmly and decisively placed in the back of the net.

In the second half, Fortuna maintained their lead, and Bjarg was lucky not to fall further behind.

When Fortuna finished a beautifully played attack to make it 3-1 after 41 minutes and then increased their lead to 4-1 just three minutes later, the game was effectively over. Bjarg simply lacked the quality to mount a comeback against Fortuna.
