Girls football has been a part of the Dana Cup since the very first tournament in 1982.

We have had the pleasure in welcoming 7.247 girls teams from all corners of the world.

We believe that every girl should have the opportunity to develop to her full potential. That includes both on and off the playing field and football is a powerful tool to help achieving this goal.

Our Global Goal wish is to equal the playing field with a 50/50 representation of girls and boys teams. This also includes referees, leaders, coaches, volunteers, partners and employees.

Dana Cup supports all of the United Nations 17 Goals with a special focus for Global Goal 5 – Gender Equality
