1. Tell us briefly the name of your club and where you come from, your history?

Our club was established in 2021, the name Mailantarki Care FC was derived from the owners name Hon Khamisu Ahmed Mailantarki who carved out the football academy from his Foundation (Mailantarki Care Foundation) in other to discover and promote young talented players to advance in their respective football career to professional level internationally or domestic.

The club affiliated its self with the host FCT Football Association in the same year and duly registered and participated in both FA Cup and the Nigeria Nationwide League One in 2022 were it got promoted to the second tier, the Nigeria National League (NNL) and win the Abuja FA Cup same year.

The club also won its first international tournament in its debut at the Dana Cup.

2. Tell us what participating in the Dana Cup means for you and your team/s?

It means a lot to gain experience on the global stage, to expose the players to potential opportunities for their respective career advancement.

3. What are your goals and expectations at the Dana Cup 2025?

We have been consistent so far as champions of the tournament twice, in in the two 2022 and 2024. We are very optimistic that the boys will repeat their brilliant outings as previously years.

We hope more football managers across elite clubs will be participating in order to select from the crop of players showcasing their talents for career advancement to professional clubs across Denmark or elsewhere.

4. We support the goal number 17, Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.
