Players Honor Cancer-Stricken Coach

Leif is the coach of the G15 team from Svedala IF in Sweden. A year ago, Leif was diagnosed with cancer, and as a result he is unable to follow his team as they participate in the Dana Cup for the first time.

‘We are very fond of Leif, and we are very sad that he can't be with us at the Dana Cup. Therefore, as a surprise for him, we have produced pink jerseys that say Fuck Cancer on the back and Team Leif on the front to honor our coach,’ Loarna Nitulescu and Tyra Sindström say.

Svedala IF is participating in the Dana Cup for the first time, and the girls are very excited to be part of one of the world's biggest youth football tournaments.
