Praise for the Schools

‘You can pat yourselves on the back. We have only received praise from those who live in the schools.’ So said the person responsible for accommodation at the Dana Cup, Bob Knudsen Andersen, when the first meeting of the week was held on Tuesday for the leaders of the schools.

With record-breaking interest in accommodation, up to 30 schools are being used this year.

At the meeting, there is ample opportunity to discuss a wide range of practical issues, for example in relation to fire safety, which of course you do not compromise on, serving breakfast and accommodation.

At the meeting, the head of Dana Cup's medical service, nurse Jette Nordberg, also gave information about the options available at the schools to refer players or managers with illness or injuries for examination in the MASH tent, where professional doctors and nurses are available.

The next meetings for the school leaders are on Thursday.
