PSC Soccer - B18-19 - USA

1. Tell us briefly the name of your club and where you come from, your history?

Our club is called PSC Soccer Academy and we are an organization based out of Irvine California and Birmingham, England. We also have semi pro / amateur teams playing in Surprise, Arizona and Panama City Beach, Florida.

The boys u19 team attending have been recruited from our academy and also our tryouts we have held around the USA during the last 12 months. Last year we won a tournament in Germany and the previous year we played in Sweden reaching the knockout stages. Our aim as an Academy is to develop players, showcase them, and also help the top performing players with professional and college opportunities. Many of our players in the last 12 years have started professional playing careers in Scandinavia or different levels in Europe. Our organization also has a licensed agency and runs international tours for professional clubs in North America and Europe taking many Premier League and La Liga teams to the United States since 2002.

Our tournament team will be led by Mark Miller, UEFA Pro licensed coach who has coached in the Malta Premier League and National team for many years. He is currently Technical Director at a club called Zurrieq in the Maltese Challenge League.

2. Tell us what participating in the Dana Cup means for you and your team/s?

We are very excited to be competing in the Dana cup this summer. For many of the boys, it will be their first time in Europe and chance to compete against clubs from all over the world and test their skills and gauge an indication of where they stand in compassion to boys in other countries at the same stage in their careers. The players are also excited to see Denmark as a country and the different cities we will visit during our trip to the Dana Cup and Copenhagen region.

3. What are your goals and expectations at the Dana Cup 2025?

Our aim in the tournament is to showcase the boys to different levels and also for our directors to gauge a further indication of their ability to see if they have what it takes to be placed at a collegiate or professional level. We also aim to try and compete and go as far as we can in the tournament!

4. Dana Cup supports Football for the Goals - it is a United Nations initiative that provides a platform for the global football community to engage with and advocate for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We ask all teams to pick at least 1 of the Global Goals that they support and will play the Dana Cup, which goal does your team support and would like to play for? More information: Football for the Goals and Global Goals

In regards to the charity then we will choose the “No Poverty” to support.
