1. Tell us briefly the name of your club and where you come from, your history?
Svärtinge SK is a sports club located in Svärtinge, a part of the city of Norrköping in Östergötland. The club was founded in 1949 and has activities in several sports, including football, floorball, futsal and padel.
The clubs goal is to encourage children and young people to participate in sports for as long as possible.
The club has activities for both girls and boys, with 21 youth teams ranging from ages 6 to 17, as well as a women´s and a men´s team.
2. Tell us what participating in the Dana Cup means for you and your team/s?
We are participating in the Dana Cup because it´s an exciting adventure for our team, where many of the players have been playing together since the age of six. The tournament gives us a unique opportunity to meet and compete against international teams, experience new cultures and create lifelong memories.
For our players, it´s a chance to grow both on and of the pitch and to share unforgettable moments with teammates and new friends from around the world.
3. What are your goals and expectations at the Dana Cup 2025?
Our goal and expectations for participating, is to go as far as possible in the tournament but above all to have fun and create lastning memories. We see this as a unique opportunity for the team to grow together, both on and of the pitch. Competing, supporting each other and sharing unforgettable experiences are just as important as the results. For us it´s about enjoying the journey.
