Tell us briefly the name of your club and where you come from, a little background?
We are Gneist IL Girls 14 from Bergen in Norway. Our team practice football 3 times a week in addition to 1 match a week. In addition to developing skills and football knowledge, we focus on inclusion and team spirit.
Tell us what participating in the Dana Cup means for you and your team/s?
It means a whole lot for our team to participate in Dana Cup for the first time. Participating in the 40th edition will be something on its own and history in the making for all of us. One of the highlights of an international tournament like Dana Cup is the opportunity to meet girls and boys from all over the world. Creating friendships and lasting memories. In addition it is of course exciting to play against other teams from other countries.
What are your goals and expectations at the Dana Cup 2023?
Our goal is to win the trophy, have a lot of fun and making new friends from all over the world. Really expand the Snap-map.

Global Goal No. 5 - Gender Equality - Gneist IL Girls 14 supports gender equality for all humans across the world. Meeting boys and girls from all over the world at Dana Cup, and making new friends, makes it easier to understand each other and achieve gender equality.
