TSV Gadeland NMS – B13 and B12 – Germany

1. Tell us briefly the name of your club and where you come from, your history?

We are TSV Gadeland, a neighbourhood club from Neumünster. Our city is located in the middle of Schleswig-Holstein, in the far north of Germany. Our club has a long tradition and was founded in 1920. Currently, we have 20 youth teams and are still growing. We are also gradually getting ready to compete with teams at a higher level.

2. Tell us what participating in the Dana Cup means for you and your team/s?

For me, participating in the Dana Cup is something very special. As a player, I participated for the first time in 1983, a total of two times. Later, I took part twice as a coach with other clubs. The last time was in 2003, and then I returned last year. This time, it is even more special because I am returning as my son's coach. I want to give him the same great experiences that I had back in the day.

3. What are your goals and expectations at the Dana Cup 2025?

I definitely expect better weather than last year, and we would at least like to still be part of the tournament by Friday. Additionally, I hope my players will make friends with boys and girls so that the youth world can grow a little closer together.

4. Dana Cup supports Football for the Goals - it is a United Nations initiative that provides a platform for the global football community to engage with and advocate for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We ask all teams to pick at least 1 of the Global Goals that they support and will play the Dana Cup, which goal does your team support and would like to play for? More information: Football for the Goals and Global Goals

We support all 17 Global Goals.
