 The local team from Hjørring lost a final lacking any goal scoring chances. As a matter of fact, the local club AIK Frem only came close once hitting the post in the second half. It was a rather physical game in which no teams created any real goal scoring chances.

After a penalty shootout Norwegian Vigør could raise the trophy. The Norwegians scored on the first four penalties and as the players from Hjørring only scored once, Vigør won gold.

In fact, Hjørring AIK Frem has never been in an A-final before so second place at Dana Cup 2015 is the best result ever.
