Broke the Rules – Trophy Seized

 For the first time in Dana Cup's 35-year-history, on Saturday, it was necessary to seize a trophy due to gross violation of tournament rules.

Gjakova KF from Kosovo, who won silver in B13 and had been given a trophy, had used illegal players and provided falsified personal data. When Dana Cup's board found out they decided to seize the trophy.

Dana Cup has thus demonstrated a very consistent position. No kind of violation of tournament rules will be tolerated.

Subsequently, Dana Cup's board consider if the behaviour of the team from Kosovo will have long-term consequences, for example, in the form of a fixed-term exclusion from Dana Cup.
