Participants at the Dana Cup have the possibility to play PES 2018 before its release.
The partnership between the Dana Cup and the Japanese Digital Entertainment Company KONAMI is a reality.
The new collaboration will create an even stronger synergy between the game on the playing field and the football game Pro Evolution Soccer, as the young people will be given the opportunity to develop their football talent as well as enhance their social relationships off the playing field.
In the PES 2018 tent during the Dana Cup week, KONAMI will give participants the exclusive experience to play PES 2018 before its release. Participants will also get the opportunity to meet some PES League players, who will be running a workshop to teach participants what it is like to play in a huge e-Sports tournament and how to be successful. The PES players will share their knowledge and experience so participants can develop their talent both in the game and on the playing field, as tactical skills can be directly transferred from Pro Evolution Soccer to the playing field.
PES 2018 and Dana Cup have a common goal to develop and strengthen young people's unity, knowledge and passion for football all around the World. So both parties have great expectations for the cooperation.
“We are extremely happy with our new partnership. For both of us it is about uniting young people from all around the World in the name of football. We work together with some of the top clubs and athletes in the World / FC Barcelona, Liverpool FC to Usain Bolt but it is just as important to support talent and youth development”, says Jonas Lygaard, Senior Director, Brand & Business Development at Konami Digital Entertainment BV KONAMI.
Jette Andersen, Director for the Dana Cup expresses her great enthusiasm for the new partnership with KONAMI and once again highlights the importance of uniting the youth of the World through diverse football events.
