Birkirkara FC Youth Academy is going to the #DanaCup2019

Dana Cup Hjørring 2019 will welcome for the very first time an U12 girls’ team from Malta. One of the leading local football academies, the Birkirkara FC, trains the girls. The club has moulded talented female footballers, playing both in the national team and with international clubs abroad.

Their passion for football is what drives these girls to compete and show their individual talents in a team formation. Last year members of the same team participated at an international football tournament in Sweden where their results led the team to 1st place, along with winning the Fair Play prize.

This year the girls will focus on nothing less than the competition and showing off their talent. The girls’ coaches are working hard as they know it will be a tough competition at the Dana Cup Hjørring. The girls are however ready to make this another memorable moment. Join them in fair spirit and support.

We will be playing for Goal 5  "Gender Equality" because we believe that girls should be given the opportunity to play football. - Read more about the Global Goals here
