Hope to Reach the A-finals
With a convincing 2-0 win in the first game at the Dana Cup, South African JVW Academy had the perfect start to this year’s tournament. And thus, the founder of the academy, Janine van Wyk, says that they are well underway to reach their goal, the A-finals in G17. JVW Academy participates in the Dana Cup for the third time and Janine van Wyk estimates that the team is good enough to finish among the best.
In the first match against Stokke IL from Norway the South African girls dominated the entire game. The players from JVW Academy did not give the Norwegian girls much space and time because they managed to put them under a lot of pressure. With a bit of luck, the South African team might even have scored more goals.
Tonight JWV Academy is going to play against Norwegian Asker FB.
