Real Sportsmanship

Ukrainian Kalynivka CYSS and Norwegian Siljan IL showed real sportsmanship after a close 1/16 final in B11, as the teams made a common team photo to remember the tight game.

It was an equal affair, in which attacks waved back and forth. The Ukrainian boys made it 2-1 in the beginning of the second half and, then, the Norwegian boys put a lot of pressure on the Ukrainian players. Just before the final whistle, Siljan IL succeeded in equalising on penalty, which meant that the winners had to be found after a penalty shoot-out. Kalynivka CYSS won 4-2.

‘We hope to win the final, but for us it is also about the sense of community and preparation for the new season,’ coach Sergiy Rabtsun explained.
