Denmark is getting ready to open up after COVID-19!
This gives us hope.
We are preparing to hold the Dana Cup 2021 and are waiting for a final message from the Danish Government.
We cannot wait to get back on the playing field, children are being sent back to school, controlled indoors sports are back, outdoors sports are coming soon, discussions to get spectators back in the stands and on the sidelines and much more.
All of this gives helps us stay optimistic, after a dark year.
A COVID-19 Vaccine Passport is on the way and the number of vaccinations is on the rise.
Here in Denmark, the Danish Authorities have set up a group of experts, who will deliver a plan in the middle of April, on how to successfully kick start sporting events and how to get fans back into sports.
The political parties believe that larger sporting events and cultural events will be possible as more and more people are being vaccinated.
We feel optimistic and understand we need to be patient just a little longer.
When the group of experts deliver their start up plan and our politicians decide the process of how to move forward, we will be able to come with a new update.
We recommend that you too are patient, as we wait and prepare for the next move.
Here at the Dana Cup we would like to reassure you that we will be 100% prepared to hold our tournament in full accordance to the health and safety regulations that will follow.
Stay strong and keep safe! Welcome to the Dana Cup Hjørring 26-31 July 2021!
