 Stopped by the Germans

The coach of a team from London has brought along his boys, aged 14 and 15, to Dana Cup for the first time. He has himself been to Dana Cup with other teams in 2010, 2012, 2013 and this year 2014. Last year his team made it to the quarterfinals.

'Every time we are beaten by the Germans,' the coach says and laughs.

The English come because the coach believes that it is good for the boys to learn what it means to be away from home, plus they have a lot of fantastic experiences. He and the boys are happy to be in Denmark but, nevertheless, think that it is a little bit different than England. They love the social air of Hjørring and think that the people up here are very friendly.
