Fantastic welcome to Dana Cup

On Monday the 20th of July, 2015 when the Dana Cup participants attend the opening ceremony, it will be at a brand new stadium with facilities of every conceivable kind. The Mayor of Hjørring, Arne Boelt, has taken the first steps towards a new stand, changing rooms and new hall. A huge construction is underway.

The existing changing rooms and public facilities have not been adequate enough for many years now. 

Now the conditions will be superior for the Dana Cup opening parade and for the finals on Friday and Saturday. 

The playing field at Hjørring Stadion is already well known for it´s top class quality, which will be preserved with perhaps a little improvement. There are plans to have heading under the grass. 

At the same time the arena lighting is already improved, it shines down on the field and players with 1.000 lux.

Dana Cup and the tournaments mother club, Fortuna Hjørring are looking forward to when the prestigious facility is fully completed and can be used.
