They range from Football Association (FA) coaches to qualified youth, sports and fitness workers from the fields of school education and sports management.
Since 2006, the Academy has seen over 30 young professional schoolboys and full-time players signed at a host of English Premiership and Championship and League Clubs including Arsenal, Brentford, Dagenham & Redbridge, Millwall, Reading, Leyton Orient, Queens Park Rangers, Watford and many more. The Academy has scouted players from Europe, including Croatia, Denmark, Lithuania and Sweden who have all attended professional trials with English Clubs including Chelsea, Liverpool, Reading, West Ham United.
Is it your first time at the Dana Cup if not how many times has your club participated?
We entered the Dana Cup for the first time as Pro Touch Soccer Academy, in 2007 in the B14. Our talented squad experienced a fantastic run, by reaching the S/F of the A Cup Final, losing to the eventual Winners from Mexcio. There were 121 teams in the catgory, so for PTSA to have reached that stage was incredable. Ever since 2007, we attended Dana Cup ever year, except 2012.
What are your goals and expectations for the Dana Cup 2015?
Ever year we have the same set of goals for all our particpating age groups, to achive Gold Medal. But off the pitch, to give our players and coaching staff, once in a life time international football experinces. In 2015 will see us bring two fantastic age groups in the boys catergory, with some of the most talented players in Inner City London. We may even select some of our schoolboy professional footballers who are signed to Arsenal, Reading, Watford FC pending approval from their Football Clubs.
