A ball with sustainability in focus

When Dana Cup 2025 kicks off, it will be with a sustainable ball on the field. We have chosen an official match ball from SELECT produced using recycled plastic – a ball that combines high quality with environmental responsibility.

Sustainability is becoming an important part of Dana Cup’s future direction. We aim to take responsibility – not only for the unforgettable experience we provide to thousands of young footballers every year but also for the world they are growing up in.

A greener choice without compromise

The ball selected from SELECT’s range, includes materials made from recycled plastic bottles. It’s a step toward more environmentally conscious solutions in the football world – and for the Dana Cup, it makes sense to reflect our values in something as central as the ball itself.

At the same time, the ball meets the demands of a high-level international youth tournament. With over 1,000 teams participating each year, quality and playability are essential – and this ball is built for both.

Playing for the future

Dana Cup is about more than football matches and results. It’s about community, shared experiences, lasting friendships and memories that stay with you. With the new ball, we want sustainability to become a natural part of that story.

By taking small but meaningful steps – like choosing a ball made with recycled materials – we hope to inspire the next generation of players to think not just about the game but also about the future.

We look forward to seeing the ball in play this summer – and to welcoming the world to another unforgettable week in Hjørring.
