Dana Cup Puts Hjørring on the Map 

 'We are very proud of the Dana Cup, and we know for sure that the big football tournament puts Hjørring on the map. We can see that many, after their good experiences at the Dana Cup, come back to discover even more of our municipality', the mayor of Hjørring municipality, Søren Smalbro, said.  

 On Monday, he officially welcomed the Dana Cup to Hjørring and wished the participants a really good week in Hjørring with lots of football and new friendships across international borders.  

 'The Dana Cup means that the population in Hjørring doubles every year and, this morning, I noticed that there are more participants at the Dana Cup than there are at the Olympics in Paris', the mayor smiled and rejoiced at the enormous positive effect that the tournament has on both the town and the local traders.
