What is the name of your team and your teams history and does your team have a Nick Name?
We are Aurium Sports, a football academy working in grassroot training for development of youth in football. Over 5 years of our existence, we have explored various aspects of football training. With our understanding from the training we have provided and we have developed an effective way to train students in football and other necessary skills that come with it. We call the model BUST (Breathing, WarmUp, Stretching and Training Drills). We train our students throughout the year with this model in mind.
What does it mean for you to play in the Dana Cup and what are your goals and expectations at the Dana Cup 2026?
A good challenging competition is always welcome for us to take part in. And moreover a tournament like Dana Cup is every young player's aspiration. It means so much for our young athletes to be able to display their talent on such a big stage. We thank Dana Cup for having us as one of their teams.
We participated last year and it was an amazing experience facing all those teams. This year, we are looking forward to playing against teams from countries we had not played against last time.
Dana Cup supports Football for the Goals - it is a United Nations initiative that provides a platform for the global football community to engage with and advocate for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We ask all teams to pick at least 1 Global Goals that they support and will play for at the Dana Cup, which goal does your team support and would like to play for? We support and will play for the SDGs 3, 4, 5, 8 & 10. Thus, we have been working on these goals here in Nepal, with a strong slogan "Sports for Mental Health".
