Goals Football Academy - Nepal - Boys 16, 14, 12 & Girls 14

What is the name of your team and your teams history and does your team have a Nick Name?

Goals Football Academy, based in Nepal, has proudly participated in the Dana Cup for the past seven years, from 2019 to 2025. Throughout this journey, we have cherished the opportunity to challenge ourselves against high-calibre opposition, refine our tactics and grow both as individual players and as a team. Our team is proudly known as Goals Football Academy, nicknamed “Goals”, because we strive to achieve many goals—both on and off the pitch.

What does it mean for you to play in the Dana Cup and what are your goals and expectations at the Dana Cup 2026?

Competing at the Dana Cup allows us not only to develop our footballing skills but also to immerse ourselves in Danish culture, explore diverse traditions, and connect with teams from around the globe—fostering friendship and brotherhood through football. Each year, we aim to perform at our best, progress beyond the group stage into the Gold Competition and continue learning from every experience.

Over the years, our club has grown significantly on its journey to the Dana Cup, developing skilled and disciplined players along the way. Our hard work was rewarded in 2025, when we won Playoff B in the U14 age category, marking a proud milestone for our academy.

Dana Cup supports Football for the Goals - it is a United Nations initiative that provides a platform for the global football community to engage with and advocate for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We ask all teams to pick at least 1 Global Goals that they support and will play for at the Dana Cup, which goal does your team support and would like to play for? More information: Football for the Goals and The Global Goals

We are honored to align with the Dana Cup’s mission of Football for the Goals, particularly Goal: Good Health & Well-Being and Goal: Gender Equality. As a club, we firmly believe that football is for everyone, regardless of gender. We are committed to providing equal opportunities for both boys and girls to grow, compete and succeed through the game.

In addition, we aim to showcase the hidden gems of Nepal on the international stage in Denmark. Our club scouts talented players from diverse regions and backgrounds, providing quality facilities, proper guidance and meaningful opportunities for player development. Our mission is to bring Nepal’s hidden talents to the global stage and support players seeking growth and better opportunities through football.
