What is the name of your team and your teams history and does your team have a Nick Name?
Our team, Musan Salama (MuSa), comes from Pori, which is the 10th largest city in Finland. We represent a club with long traditions, founded in 1960.
Our current squad is a talented and diverse group of players born between 2007 and 2011. This mix of ages brings a great balance of experience and youthful energy to our game. In the upcoming season, we will be playing in the Girls’ U18 2nd Division. Our clear goal for the season is to earn a promotion back to the 1st Division, after a very narrow and hard-fought relegation last year.
We are known as "The White Tigers". The name reflects our team spirit: we are a determined, loyal, and fierce group of players who fight for each other until the final whistle. We are excited to bring our "Tiger spirit" to the Dana Cup!
What does it mean for you to play in the Dana Cup and what are your goals and expectations at the Dana Cup 2026?
For us, and especially for me as a coach, participating in the Dana Cup is a full-circle moment. I played in the tournament myself back in 1994, and I still vividly remember the electrifying feeling of scoring a goal in a penalty shootout during the playoffs. That unique atmosphere—the mix of pressure, excitement, and pure joy—is something you can only experience at a world-class event like this.
Our main goal for Dana Cup 2026 is to provide our players with one last unforgettable international experience before their path as junior players comes to an end and they transition into adult competitive football. We want to offer them memories that will last a lifetime, just as they have lasted for me.
While our primary athletic goals for the season are focused on our domestic league games, we are an extremely competitive group. We never step onto the field without a desire to win, and we intend to fight for every point and every ball. However, more than just trophies, we are coming to Hjørring to enjoy the game of football, embrace the international community, and celebrate the incredible spirit of the Dana Cup. We expect high-quality matches, new friendships, and a fantastic event that crowns our years together as a team.

While all 17 Sustainable Development Goals are vital for a better future, our team has chosen to play for Goal 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions.
In the current global climate, we feel it is more important than ever to highlight the need for peaceful societies, human rights, and justice. As a team of young women soon entering adulthood, we recognize that none of the other goals can be fully achieved without a foundation of peace and stability.
For us, football has always been a universal language that brings people together regardless of their background. By choosing this goal, we want to show that the 'White Tigers' stand for equality, fair play, and a world where every young person can pursue their dreams in a safe and just environment. At the Dana Cup, we don't just play for points; we play for a world where peace and justice prevail.
