Dana Cup Welcomed to Hjørring

Every year the Dana Cup is welcomed to Hjørring by the municipality's mayor at a festive reception at the town hall. And every year two teams are selected to represent all the participants consisting of more than 1000 teams.

This year B67 from the capital, Nuuk, in Greenland represented all the girls participating at the Dana Cup, while Hong Kong FC represented the boys.

The CEO of the Dana Cup, Jette Andersen, was delighted that this year as many as 10 teams from Greenland participate and she also welcomed Hong Kong FC to the club's first Dana Cup.

Mayor Søren Smalbro offered a welcome on behalf of Hjørring municipality and told a little bit about the town, its inhabitants and the many opportunities there are for both shopping and nature experiences, for instance some of the best beaches in Denmark.
