Fortuna Hjørring (DEN) – Donn FK (NOR) 4-0 (4-0)
Norwegian Donn were rare visitors in Fortuna's half of the pitch, and it was clearly visible on the scoreboard. After six minutes, Fortuna took a 1-0 lead when a bit of clumsy play apparently tricked the Norwegian goalkeeper, and exactly six minutes later Fortuna doubled the score with a hard, flat shot.
With a handful of minutes left in the first half, Fortuna increased the lead to 3-0, but they were not finished yet. A superb cross was expertly converted to give the home side a commanding 4–0 lead before the half-time whistle.
The second half followed much the same pattern as the opening 25 minutes, with Fortuna firmly in control. The only difference was that no further goals were added.
Donn were thoroughly outclassed but deserve great credit for never giving up. Despite the match having been effectively decided before half-time, the Norwegian side continued to battle until the final whistle.
