Fortuna Hjørring (DEN) – Bodø/Glimt FK (NOR) 1-0

The match began with a minute's silence to honor Sara Dissing, who died on Friday at the age of just 17. Sara was a teammate of the players on the Fortuna Hjørring team.

Wearing black armbands on their right arms, Fortuna Hjørring put Bodø/Glimt under heavy pressure from the first whistle. With a fast pace and swift passing, wave after wave of attacks surged toward the Norwegian penalty area.

However, Bodø/Glimt defended admirably, with all players positioned in and around the penalty area, making it difficult for Fortuna Hjørring to create any clear-cut scoring opportunities.

Being pushed deep into their own half meant that Bodø/Glimt rarely posed a threat to Fortuna Hjørring’s goal. Therefore, the first half ended without any goals, even though both teams gave it their all.

It was not until two minutes before the final whistle that Fortuna Hjørring, in line with the run of play, finally found the back of the Norwegian net.
