FTA (DEN) – HB 1 (FAR) 6–0 (1–0)
From the first whistle, the Danish football academy FTA put the Faroese side HB 1 under heavy pressure. It therefore came as no surprise when FTA deservedly took a 1–0 lead after just six minutes.
At that stage, it looked as though a comfortable victory was on the cards. However, an outstanding performance from the Faroese goalkeeper prevented FTA from extending their lead before half-time.
HB created very little in attack. Their only real opportunity was brilliantly dealt with by the Danish defence.
FTA, on the other hand, created plenty of chances after the break. Two quick goals in the space of just two minutes effectively settled the contest, before three further goals completed an emphatic 6–0 victory.
It was a thoroughly convincing win for an impressive Danish side.
