Greetings to the Ukrainian Compatriots
The players on the 7 Ukrainian teams participating in Dana Cup 2022 received special greetings from Denmark’s most famous Ukrainian footballer Erik Sviatchenko, who has been a key player for FC Midtjylland for several years.
Erik Sviatchenko has sent a video greeting to his compatriots at the Dana Cup in Hjørring. Additionally, Erik Sviatchenko has donated the signed FC Midtjylland jersey he wore the day the war in the Ukraine broke out.
The Ukrainian stall at Vendiahallen in the Dana Cup centre area sells lottery tickets, in which one might win the jersey. The whole amount from the sales goes to activities that benefit the war-torn Ukraine.
