Hamrun Spartans - B12 & B11 - Malta
1. Tell us briefly the name of your club and where you come from, your history?
We are Hamrun Spartans Football Academy from the island of Malta. Our Academy has been committed to the development of football talent in Malta for many years. Our aim is to raise talented players to play for our senior team.
2. Tell us what participating in the Dana Cup means for you and your team/s?
It will be our first time participating in the Dana Cup and we are certain it will be a unique experience for our young children. We are excited and very much looking forward to the experience and the new challenge.
3. What are your goals and expectations at the Dana Cup 2025?
Our expectation is for our children to gain experience and to meet other children from different countries. Of course, we would like to succeed on the pitch, but the most important thing is, that they have fun.
4. Dana Cup supports Football for the Goals - it is a United Nations initiative that provides a platform for the global football community to engage with and advocate for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We ask all teams to pick at least 1 of the Global Goals that they support and will play the Dana Cup, which goal does your team support and would like to play for? We will play for the Global Goal number 16 – Peace, justice and strong institutions.
