Referees Take a Leading Part

When Juan's mother in Chile watch her son's match at the Dana Cup directly on the computer or TV, it is in fact the referee who takes a leading part in the game. 

'For each game, the referee brings a mobile phone onto the pitch. When he starts play, he presses a button on the phone, and then the automatic camera is ready to stream the match. It is also the referee who continuously updates the livescore. When the match is over, it is the referee who, with a press of a button, stops the streaming', explains Public Relations Manager at Dana Cup, Torben Vandsted. 

When the referee has finished the match, he hands the phone over to the next referee.
