Selección Elite – 6 teams boys and girls – Mexico
1. Tell us briefly the name of your club and where you come from, your history?
We are Selección Elite and we are from Mexico. Selección Elite is a team that was created only to participate in the Dana Cup for more than 15 years ago, it is formed with kids from different states, but with the same dream, to play in the Dana Cup.
2. Tell us what participating in the Dana Cup means for you and your team/s?
It is the opportunity to fulfill many dreams, to break language, nationality and cultural barriers, all through a ball and of course to create great friendships.
3. What are your goals and expectations at the Dana Cup 2025?
We want our girls and boys to have the opportunity to develop both athletically and personally, as well as to make friends and live experiences that they will carry with them throughout their lives.
4. Dana Cup supports Football for the Goals - it is a United Nations initiative that provides a platform for the global football community to engage with and advocate for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We ask all teams to pick at least 1 of the Global Goals that they support and will play the Dana Cup, which goal does your team support and would like to play for? We are going to play and commit ourselves to objective #5, which is gender equity.
