The Fair Play Award will be Presented Tomorrow
During the Dana Cup, it is possible to give feedback on red or green cards - red for negative feedback and green for positive feedback. And it can be about everything from experiences in schools to fair play on the football pitches.
‘We have received quite a few positive reports, and one of them that has caught our eyes is Danish Tornby in B14, who won a match. Subsequently, the coach called and said that he had mistakenly used a player who was too old, and he would like to report this. I explained to him that the consequence would be that his team would lose the match. He was happy with that decision, because it was not right that they had used a player who was too old. That is fair play,’ emphasizes Finn Larsen, who is chairman of the jury during the Dana Cup.
The Fair Play trophy will be presented on Friday at the Nord Energi Arena in connection with the A-finals.
Red and green report cards can be collected from the jury in the centre area or at the schools. They should be handed in no later than Thursday evening.
